WHAT AWAITS YOU.
Support obtaining vehicle type approval or certification for timely market launch. Ensure compliance with market-specific rules and regulations. Engage with regulatory agencies to facilitate the introduction of innovative BMW models. Advise development teams on specific U.S. regulatory requirements. Guide various departments in finding solutions for compliance issues. Represent BMW towards government agencies and industry meetings. Manage certification tasks such as Confirmatory Testing, In-Use Testing, or Fleet reporting.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical) or master’s degree.
- 3-5 years (bachelor) or 1-3 years (master) in vehicle development or project management.
- 3-5 years (bachelor) or 1-3 years (master) recent experience in Emissions and Fuel Economy Certification and Compliance in the Automobile industry or similar.
- 3-5 years (bachelor) or 1-3 years (master) years’ experience in direct dealing with the governmental agencies (EPA, CARB, NHTSA) or similar.

In support of BMW Group’s business objectives, this position requires regular onsite attendance at a BMW office/facility with remote work capability (hybrid).
The expected salary range for this position is $62,500.00 - $125,000.00
The selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
