Job Description: 
In your role as Head of Project Management & Quality, you will set the direction for how projects are run and ensure high standards of quality, while helping the organisation introduce new digital solutions. You will work with teams across Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia to make sure projects are delivered efficiently and in line with BMW Group requirements.

 

What awaits you?

  • Lead and develop the PMQ team, overseeing project delivery across Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia within approx. 30 million PLN annual budget.
  • Drive the implementation of modern IT solutions and new processes aligned with business needs and regulatory changes (e.g. direct sales models, online customer service, process digitization, automated credit decision-making, CRM solutions etc).
  • Ensure successful delivery of both global and local initiatives, balancing standardization with market-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with regional IT teams and headquarters to align projects and ensure smooth implementation.
  • Establish and maintain effective project management and quality standards to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Manage stakeholders in a complex international environment, aligning diverse expectations and priorities.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and quality, while continuously improving processes and developing team capabilities.

 

What should you bring along?

  • 8–10 years of experience in project management and quality assurance, ideally in financial services, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in delivering IT solutions and driving process improvements in a complex business environment.
  • Experience managing multi-market projects, budgets, and working within international structures.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively.
  • Solid knowledge of project management and quality methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, Six Sigma).
  • Strategic, results-driven mindset combined with a hands-on approach and strong business acumen.
  • Leadership style that promotes collaboration, innovation, and high team performance, with a focus on continuous improvement.
