Business Intelligence Specialist

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our dynamic and international IT team at BMW Northern Europe AB. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and managing business intelligence solutions that support sales and business steering across the Nordic and Baltic markets. You will work closely with various stakeholders and collaborate with BMW Group IT departments across Europe to drive innovation and ensure high-quality BI services.

• Designing and implementing advanced BI solutions aligned with business needs and BMW Group IT strategy.
• Managing and enhancing our local BI platform on AWS QuickSight to support KPI reporting and business steering.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop scalable data models, pipelines, and reports that drive decision-making.
• Leading implementation of new BI features, tools, and processes to continuously improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and user experience.
• Maintaining data quality, governance, and secure BI operations in cooperation with our operations provider.
• Taking ownership of BI projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.

What should you bring along?

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, combined with relevant professional experience.
• Proven skills in business intelligence, business analysis, and data architecture principles.
• Experience with data modeling, data integration, and maintaining BI platforms, preferably on AWS QuickSight.
• Solid knowledge of DevOps/agile methodologies (Scrum) and IT service management (e.g., ITIL V4).
• Successful track record of managing and delivering BI projects on time, meeting business requirements with high-quality outcomes, ideally within the automotive industry.
• Demonstrated ability to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and user experience through innovative BI solutions.
• Fluency in English and knowledge of a Scandinavian language or German is an advantage.
