Risk Management Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)

Description:

RISK MANAGEMENT ENGINEERING Intern will be support of Risk Management plant Spartanburg in Analysis, Reporting, and Steering.

 

The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the in the following functions: 

  • Annual Property Inspection/Audits
  • Insurance / Risk Logic Recommendations
  • Contract Reviews/Approvals
  • Records Management
  • KONTRAG Risk Reporting according to BMW standards
  • Fire System Impairment Reviews
  • Risk Management – Goals/Target Setting
  • Property and General Liability
  • Auto and Workers Comp
  • Loss Control Engineering
  • Claims Administration
  • Safety
  • Internal/External Audits

 

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing undergraduate business-related degree
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • German language skills (preferred)
  • Analytical and critical thinking
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • THE WORK TERM DATES ARE May 18th – Aug 7th, 2026.
