Description
- Manages Equipment Spare Part purchasing process for the MRO group.
- Ensures quotes, purchase orders, and materials are processed to meet production targets.
- Manages relationships with all suppliers to ensure they are aware of our targets and understand our procurement process.
- Manages Equipment Spare Part purchasing process for the MRO group.
Serves as the MRO group's direct liaison with internal Procurement
group. - Meets regularly with procurement contact to develop purchasing process
strategies and supplier management. - Secures quotes for all needed inventory items.
- Reviews MRP daily requirements to determine correct reorder levels
and quantities. - Manages all open RFQ's and open purchase orders to ensure there is no
downtime impact to production. - Interacts will all Maintenance departments to review current and future
inventory ordering requirements. - Provides daily task requirements to outsource personnel assisting in
purchasing process. - Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles
and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving. - Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Preferred Degrees: BA/BS degree (Logistics related field preferred); OR AA/AS degree (Logistics related field preferred) AND 2 years of professional related experience in inventory management;
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-ear college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
- Transfer students must hava GPA from current university.
- Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript.
- Compete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
- The work term is 5-18-2026 to 8-7-2026
