Non-Series Material (NSM) Cntrlr Analyst (TX-155)

Description:

  • Manages Equipment Spare Part purchasing process for the MRO group.
  • Serves as the MRO group's direct liaison with internal Procurement group.
  • Meets regularly with procurement contact to develop purchasing process strategies and supplier management.
  • Secures quotes for all needed inventory items.
  • Reviews MRP daily requirements to determine correct reorder levels and quantities.
  • Manages all open RFQ's and open purchase orders to ensure there is no downtime impact to production.
  • Interacts will all Maintenance departments to review current and future inventory ordering requirements.
  • Provides daily task requirements to outsource personnel assisting in purchasing process.
  • Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
  • Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree (Logistics related field preferred) OR AA/AS degree (Logistics related field preferred) AND 2 years of professional related experience in inventory management OR The equivalent of 4 years of related professional experience in inventory management.
  • 2+ years of professional inventory control or material planning leadership experience (maintenance or spare parts preferred).
  • 2+ years of SAP experience (maintenance or logistics-related preferred).
  • 3+ years of MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Access).
  • 3+ years of professional communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
  • 2+ years of knowledge in maintenance, equipment, and spare parts (preferred).
