International Division Steering and Communication Intern (Fall 2025)

Description – 

 

Support of Supplier Network Americas Steering and Communication Function and Implementation of outside view ideas to support continuous improvement.

 The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

  • Assignment Duties & Learning Goals:
  • MN Strategy Support: independently conceptualize, design, and implement a MN strategy project (i.e. Sustainability)
  • MN Communication Support: Supplier Events and presentation support various MN-circles & forums
  • MN Strategy 2026 projects, possibly from the following pillars: Sustainability, Stakeholder Analysis, People, Leadership & Management
  • Knowledge of international Supply Chain
  • Understanding the processes around the steering of the Supplier Network Americas
  • Understanding the complexity of supplying parts in the global network
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing process and quality targets for automotive.
  • Project management
  • Working in a complex and diverse environment

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Enrolled in college program with major in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Good organization and project management skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English and preferably German
  • Analytical, solution-oriented mindset
  • Basic understanding of coding concepts (conditional statements/sequential flow)
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on the US grading scale
  • Must be enrolled at a university outside of the United States.
  • Must have completed a prior BMW internship of at least 3 months in length
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • Work term dates are from September 22, 2025 to March 06, 2026.
