What awaits you?

We are looking for a Process Methodology Specialist to join our team for the High-Voltage Battery Gen 6. In this role, you will be responsible for securing, enabling, and optimizing advanced manufacturing and assembly technologies across the production clusters. Operating in a highly automated environment, you will serve as the technical expert to ensure process stability, manage product and process changes, and support ongoing series production to meet our high quality, cost, and efficiency standards.

  • Oversee and secure special production and integration processes, specifically focusing on cell stacking and geometry across all production clusters.

  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and permanently eliminate complex technical faults in collaboration with production and maintenance teams.

  • Develop, monitor, and optimize production processes and conduct capability studies to qualify processes for series production and new projects.

  • Define and implement short-term corrective measures on-site to ensure continuous production capability and provide targeted training to teams when needed.

  • Manage modifications, optimizations, and replacement projects on schedule, including coordinating with external system suppliers.

  • Partner with the Center of Competence (CoC) to develop technical standards and planning specifications by participating in cross-plant international working groups.

  • Collaborate closely and share best practices with the network of methodology specialists across other BMW plants.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience evaluating, monitoring, and optimizing connection and manufacturing processes in a highly automated production environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in problem-solving methodologies to resolve process deviations and complex fault patterns.

  • Experience managing technical projects, timeline targets, and external system suppliers.

  • Proficiency with specialized production and engineering software/systems (such as TIA portal, IPS-C, IPM next, KCU operation interface, eMMA, or Atlas Copco software).

  • Fluent business English.
