What awaits you?
- Responsible and accountable for ensuring dimensional accuracy and validation of Body in White structures, in accordance with defined product specifications, quality standards, and dimensional targets.
- Define, verify, and support product and process methods related to dimensional assurance, measurement strategies, and production stability.
- Investigate and analyze complete vehicle dimensional issues, including root-cause identification, containment definition, corrective action follow-up, and cross-functional alignment
- Monitor, evaluate, and manage the dimensional status of Body in White structures, ensuring compliance with defined geometric specifications, dimensional targets, and quality standards.
- Maintain and analyze key performance indicator data and dimensional reports, including metrology results, total vehicle feedback, and external studies, to identify deviations from agreed targets and enable early detection of potential issues.
- Initiate, coordinate, and implement equipment, fixture, tooling, and process adjustments to improve dimensional quality and production capability.
- Identify root causes of dimensional deviations and define sustainable technical solutions, ensuring long-term problem elimination and prevention of recurrence.
- Prepare and communicate technical reports regarding the dimensional status of Body in White, including deviation analysis, trend evaluation, countermeasure status, and escalation topics.
What should you bring along:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or any related field.
- 3 years of experience in the automotive industry in geometrical topics for Body Shop area.
- Experience in adjustments in the line and measurement reports.
- Problem-solving methods and experience in root cause analysis (Quality tools, Ishikawa, 5Why´s, etc.).
- Good communication and presentation skills and ability to work in a team.
- Fluent business English.
