The Data Analytics Intern, Pre-Owned role at BMW Group Canada offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team. You will help develop and steer advanced analytical capabilities by designing, analyzing, and implementing innovative data solutions, directly impacting critical aspects of the business. In addition, you will provide operational support within the Remarketing (wholesale) and Pre-Owned (retail) operations, offering a unique learning experience across the entire used car business. The tentative start date for this role will be May 2026.

Key Accountabilities of the function. 

  • Build, analyze and maintain Tableau and Quick Sight dashboards and reports.
  • Work with MySQL to build and maintain key data sets to empower operational and exploratory analysis.
  • Conduct analytical tasks to improve processes, reporting systems and results.
  • Administrative support including month-end processes.
  • Ad-hoc data and reporting requests as required.

 

Qualifications.

  • Recent graduate in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related quantitative field.
  • Minimum one year experience within a technical role utilizing data and reporting systems.

 

Additional skills: special skills / technical ability etc.

  • Experience with data visualization and discovery tools (Tableau and Quick Sight strongly preferred).
  • Fluency in MySQL and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access.
  • Analytical thinking, gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data.
  • Ability to communicate results of analysis in a clear and effective manner.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Motivated to drive change with hands-on mentality.

 

Compensation.

The compensation range for this role is $46,000 - $48,000, with variations based on factors like experience, education and skills. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
