Our Corporate Headquarters, located in Richmond Hill, is looking for a Quality & Technical Intern in our Aftersales Department starting May 5, 2025.
Reporting to the Manager, Technical Service you will be responsible for assisting in a variety of projects within the Aftersales Department, some of which include:
- Direct & indirect support of BMW Group Retailers.
- Review, creation and update of service publications.
- Creation of periodical metrics based on service publication summary and service trends.
- Vehicle test fitments and software validation.
- Maintain department equipment, technical work area and special tools.
- Departmental administration support.
- Attend weekly technical group meetings and keep track of minutes, technical topics and campaigns.
- Theoretical and practical technical applications.
- Research information & prepare technical documents for internal & external parties (engineering, technical, suppliers, forensic investigations, legal, police department, etc.).
Qualifications.
- Pursuing a University degree in Engineering or other technical discipline
- Prior automotive experience is preferred
- Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize effectively and multitask
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in both independent and team environments
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Developed computer skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Basic level understanding of programming logic and HTML web page design is an asset
- Business aptitude is an asset
- English/ French bilingualism is an asset
- A valid Ontario Class G driver’s license is required
