The Accounting Specialist will be working alongside the Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager and supporting with the below responsibilties:

  • Perform key reconciliations for G/L Accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS
  • Perform various month end activities to ensure deadlines are met on time and with accuracy
  • Develop and execute detailed test cases relating to GFBB data migration and implementation
  • Integration testing to ensure financial modules integrate with SAP modules and functionalities
  • Ad-Hoc requests relating to GFBB project
  • Oversee key direct costs and provision accounts
  • Oversee posting Interface files into SAP financial system and mapping for future GFBB system
  • Prepare key financial documentation for both Internal and external audits
  • Assist with preparation of year end consolidated financial statements
  • Assist with preparation of government surveys and questionnaires
  • Work with ICS and Compliance team to ensure violations and process maps are kept up to date and to highest standards

Qualification

  • University Degree in Commerce or Business Administration (Accounting/Finance preferred).
  • 2-4 years experience within a Finance/Accounting Department
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $52,500 - $73,100, with variations based on factors like experience, education and skills. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
