Project Management, Launch & Change Control Intern - 13 Month Internship (July 2026)
Entity, Location – Mini Plant, Oxford.
We are responsible for the planning, management and delivery of the new vehicle projects within Plant Oxford. As well as specifying prototype vehicles, securing the bill of materials, and interfacing with the central BMW network, the department steers all launch activities. In addition, we are responsible for steering and communicating part changes in current vehicles.
What awaits you?
- Planning and management of new vehicle projects.
- Manage the prototype vehicle fleet processes (including registration, maintenance & disposal of vehicles).
- Coordinate and communicate changes for vehicle builds.
- Involvement with experts in the change processes, getting hands on with the vehicle and supporting processes.
- Creation and communication of key reports, identifying opportunities to develop these further with the aid of data analytics to enable process improvement.
- Preparing and facilitating a landscape of support meetings.
- Opportunities for additional projects to give a rounded experience. This will challenge and develop problem solving and organisational skills.
What should you bring along?
- Studying a bachelor’s or integrated master’s degree in a Business Management, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering course.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Must be experienced with Microsoft Office, ideally with understanding and experience of data analytics tools.
- Enthusiastic and a good team player, with a willingness to integrate and learn.
- Self-disciplined, reliable, and conscientious.
