Plant Oxford is the birthplace and heart of MINI production. Manufactured to individual customer specifications, hundreds of MINIs leave the plant’s assembly lines each day, off to meet new owners in more than 110 countries around the world. Three UK plants have a part to play in MINI production – Plant Hams Hall makes engines, Plant Swindon produces body pressings and sub-assemblies for MINI, and all this comes together at Plant Oxford with body shell production, paint and final

 

MINI Plant Oxford – Data Development & Analytics Internship - 13-Month Placement - (July 2026)

 

 

What awaits you?

  • Shape the future scope of the organisation by contributing to flexible, adaptive planning processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop tools and applications that empower data-driven decision making which enhances business performance.
  • Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams which include, but not limited to, Manufacturing, Finance and Human Resources to align planning objectives whilst maximising business strategy.
  • Analyse the production plan, design pre-indicators and formulate actionable outcomes to manage capacity constraints, bottlenecks and opportunities for long term excellence

 

 

What should you bring along?

  • Studying for a degree in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Management or a closely related technical field.
  • Detail-orientated mindset with the ability to translate data into tangible business output.
  • Strong data analysis and visualisation skill set (SQL, Python, plus tools like Power BI or similar).

What do you need to do now?
