Our team at the BMW Group focuses on innovative logistics solutions with robotics. Here, you will support us in developing and optimizing safety concepts for mobile multi-purpose robots as part of your thesis.

 

What awaits you?

  • You will support building and optimizing safety concepts for a fully automated logistics system with innovative robotics solutions.
  • Furthermore, you help to understand current manual logistics processes and document key steps.
  • In addition, you assist in designing the automated logistics system and contribute your ideas.
  • Moreover, you will help to conduct site visits in the factory for data collection.
  • You will extract system KPIs and draw conclusions for the concept design.
  • Furthermore, you integrate feedback from the team into the concept design.
  • You will support the independent completion of tasks and receive regular feedback from your mentor.

 

What should you bring along?

  • Studies in industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics, operations research or a related science or engineering field.
  • Experience with mechanical design tools.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to support a multicultural and multidisciplinary team.
  • Good English skills.
