Job Description: 

Our team at the BMW Group develops methods and accelerates the digitalization process for vehicle development. We develop a method to investigate real driving postures for better vehicle designs and foster an innovative research environment where you can contribute.

What awaits you?

  • You will investigate research questions for industrial applications in collaboration with another doctor student.
  • You will support to develop a vision-based method for human pose estimation.
  • You will test and validate the method in a real vehicle.
  • You will support in refining the method based on the validation results.

What should you bring along?

  • Studies in computer science, robotics, electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Hands-on programming experiences with computer-vision-related projects.
  • Knowledge of 2D and 3D human pose estimation.
  • Familiarity with fiducial systems.
  • High degree of self-motivation and strong organizational skills.
  • Good English language skills.
