We, the BMW Group, offer you an exciting thesis in the field of test automation for infotainment and communication systems. Support our team in the development of machine learning models for the automated analysis of test results and error patterns.

What awaits you?

  • You analyze in-vehicle network trace data in depth.
  • Additionally, you develop and implement machine learning models for automated detection and analysis of error patterns.
  • Scientific evaluation of the developed models is part of your tasks.
  • You contribute to an innovative AI-based testing strategy.

Please note that the supervision of your thesis must be ensured by your university.


What should you bring along?

  • Studies in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Strong programming skills, ideally in Python.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow is desirable.
  • Interest in Data Science, Deep Learning, and Anomaly Detection.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and structure complex issues.
  • Motivation to contribute proactively to innovative projects.
