Job Description: 

Our team at the BMW Group specializes in modelling and simulation of mechatronic systems for virtual vehicle development using XiL technologies. We bring together theory and practice, creating sophisticated real-time vehicle simulation models at the interface with control systems.

 

What awaits you?

  • You will support at the interface of theory and practice, actively learning alongside our experts.
  • Furthermore, you help with real-world industry use cases, contributing to the advancement of sophisticated real-time vehicle simulation models.
  • In addition, you will assist with the interface development between simulation models and control systems.
  • Moreover, you gain hands-on experience with XiL technologies in virtual vehicle development.

 

What should you bring along?

  • Studies in engineering, mathematics, computer science or equivalent.
  • Well-founded knowledge of vehicle dynamics and multi-body simulation.
  • Programming skills in C/C++, Python, Modelica or Matlab/Simulink.
  • Experience with XiL applications, real-time systems, machine learning and optimization methods is an advantage.
  • Team and communication skills.
  • Fluent German or English skills.
