This is a full-time internship position for our summer rotation, from June 1, 2026, through August 21, 2026, in Mountain View, CA. Application deadline is April 3, 2026.

 

WHAT AWAITS YOU.

  • Support strategic analysis and coordination with tech players for automated driving.
  • Arrange and prepare partner meetings.
  • Conduct market research on automated driving systems and technologies.
  • Assist with daily tasks for the partnership with Qualcomm and PoCs with others.
  • Prepare management presentations.
  • Organize and support execution of events.

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university in the field of Engineering.
  • Background in AI and computer science.
  • US Work Authorization.
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
  • Have completed at least 60 college credit hours at time of application.
  • Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript.
  • Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week).
  • Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only).
  • Business fluent English, German beneficial.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. This is a hybrid role that requires in office days. 

 

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $32.50.

The hourly rate for Graduate students is $40.00.

 

The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
