RISK TRAINEE

 

BMW FINANCIAL SERVICES

 

As a Risk Trainee, you will support the Credit Risk and Residual Value Risk functions by contributing to the identification, analysis, monitoring, and communication of financial risks across BMW Financial Services Mexico. Working closely with local and central Risk teams, Commercial Finance, and business stakeholders, you will leverage analytical tools, financial modeling, and market insights to support risk management activities, regulatory compliance, portfolio performance, and continuous process improvement in a dynamic financial services environment.
 
 

WHAT AWAITS YOU?

  • Support the identification, analysis, and monitoring of credit risk and market risk within Retail Finance and Commercial Finance portfolios.
  • Assist in validating compliance with risk management policies, procedures, and internal governance requirements.
  • Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for local management committees, risk committees, and central stakeholders.
  • Contribute to market risk projections, portfolio analysis, and financial risk modeling activities.Monitor portfolio performance indicators and support risk assessment exercises.
  • Collaborate in the implementation of regulatory and risk management requirements.
  • Support the development and enhancement of data quality initiatives and automated reporting processes. 

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING ALONG?

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or a related.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in Risk Management, Financial Analysis, Banking, Financial Services or related areas.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data and business scenarios.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of financial and risk management concepts.
  • Desirable programming knowledge in SQL, Python and/or R.
  • Fluent Spanish and advanced English communication skills.
