The HR Trainee serves as a key contributor within the Human Resources team across Mexico, combining operational precision with a process-driven and employee-oriented approach. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting core financial planning, reporting metrics, internal control systems (ICS), and the end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding procedures. The position plays a critical role in driving digital transformation, optimizing operational workflows, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that HR operational standards align with regional compliance, organizational efficiency, and strategic business goals. 

 

WHAT AWAITS YOU?

  • Support cross functional collaboration by preparing meeting materials, following up on action items, and communicating status updates.
  • Support pilots of new tools or process changes; gather feedback, measure outcomes, and recommend iterative improvements.
  • Promote continuous improvement by suggesting practical process standardization, data governance, and workflow enhancements that raise productivity and reduce error rates.
  • Operate with delegated authority to request information, agree timelines, and follow up on action items with stakeholders.
  • Support key finance, compliance, reporting, and people processes across the Mexico & LATAM organization.

 

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING ALONG?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related.
  • Previous internship or trainee experience in Human Resources or related areas is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic macros) and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems, reporting tools, and HRIS platforms is an advantage.
  • Ability to document processes, perform reconciliations, and follow audit procedures.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred to facilitate communication across regional teams.
