We are now looking for a Product Owner to join our team.

 

What awaits you?

  • You will be responsible for leading the design, development and continuous delivery of a dedicated solution within the APAC Retail Core Financial Platform, aligning with the BMW Financial Services business needs and market requirements.
  • You will be responsible for managing and collaborating with internal teams and external providers to design, develop, test and deploy software solutions.
  • You will be responsible for full operational governance of the product within an Agile framework, acting as the single point of contact for the Market Product Owner and managing scope, budget, and timelines.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring quality and maturity of deliverables, including design, development, testing, and documentation, while resolving issues and facilitating communication across stakeholders.
  • You will be responsible for supporting innovation and process harmonisation by simplifying and automating core business processes, enabling digital initiatives and optimising Retail Lease/Loan business functions.
  • You will be responsible for steering the project and escalating topics for speedy resolution at all management levels, encompassing all facets of our business.
  • You will drive strategic planning and roadmap creation by prioritising high-level requirements, managing epics and user stories, and ensuring alignment with industry trends and BMW Financial Services strategy. 
  • You will drive the test strategy and quality assurance, covering approach, sequencing, and planning.

 

What should you bring along?        

  • A degree in business administration, management, accounting, or a related field required.
  • At least 7-10 years of professional experience, preferably in financial services, banking, or insurance, with strong exposure to business/IT projects or operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of banking and financial services, including industry trends, regulations, risk management, tax treatments, and accounting practices.
  • Possess deep understanding of finance products, processes and system architectures in asset finance and lending space.
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT architectures, system integration, IT security, relational databases, and scalable IT solutions for online business.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills with experience in design, process/quality management, and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict‑resolution skills, including experience working in cross‑functional teams and managing stakeholders from regional to global levels.
