Assistant Sales Manager - BMW
BMW Group Park Lane is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager - BMW to join the team at our flagship BMW Retail showroom in Park Lane.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the BMW Retail Sales Team in driving outstanding performance, achieving car sales targets and budgets, and delivering exceptional customer experiences within defined operating, financial and marketing guidelines. You will play a key role in leading the team to meet volume, profit, VOC, F&I and related targets while ensuring smooth and timely execution of all sales activities and achieving VOC results above national and regional averages.
What awaits you?
- Support the New and Used Car Sales Managers in achieving volume, profit, VOC, F&I and related targets, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of all sales activities and achieving VOC results above national and regional averages.
- Assist in implementing, monitoring and controlling key targets, including managing the Sales Enquiry Management Process and providing accurate reporting to BMW (UK) Ltd and senior leadership.
- Monitor and manage Retail Managers’ performance through coaching, feedback and contribution to 1-2-1s, ensuring continuous improvement across the team.
- Develop and coach the sales team in Keyloop Drive and other systems, ensuring effective enquiry management, customer follow-up, prospecting and strong customer retention.
- Maintain excellent product and competitor knowledge and support the team in delivering expert advice on vehicles, accessories and pricing.
- Train and develop the sales team to achieve shared business objectives and consistently high performance.
- Manage external platforms, supporting tactical pricing strategies for marketing campaigns and offers.
- Oversee accurate reporting of sales activities, ensure precise completion of sales and financial documentation, and maintain high standards in vehicle appraisals and customer service delivery.
What should you bring along?
- Strong selling and negotiation skills with proven customer-facing experience.
- Experience in an automotive Sales Manager, Retail Manager or Business Manager role preferred.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to influence, persuade and build strong customer relationships.
- Experience in vehicle appraisal and identifying sales opportunities.
- Strong leadership capability with experience motivating and developing teams.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet targets and deadlines.
- High levels of energy, enthusiasm, professionalism and a positive, self-motivated attitude.
