Job Description: 

To coordinate and implement specialist planning activities to resolve technical issues within the technologies. The role is to optimise equipment, following data analysis and plan/implement long term solutions to ensure uptime. To also ensure the technology is operating to the required technical standards and performance – this will also encompass the creation, management and all associated administration of the Preventative Maintenance System within SAP.

 

What awaits you?

  • To manage the day to day expenditure of the maintenance department consumable budget – in line with expenditure
  • Steer the invest delivery for the department, working on the given invest cost from the management team. Manage over 35 service contracts annually.
  • To manage the specification, selection and standards for new equipment peripheries which are fit for purpose, cost effective and comply with local health and safety regulations as well as Group Standards (or currently standard at R-RMC) and best practice guidelines.
  • To be the point of contact for Planners and other support functions and to steer and coordinate Shutdown activities within RRMC Goodwood.
  • To represent the department in Planning Circle meetings and final acceptance of equipment meetings. (After having ensured parts, manuals and requirements are meeting the standards set).

 

What should you bring along?

  • Needs to be adaptable with a systematic and fact driven approach to problem solving.
  • Always meets the highest standards concerning accuracy and integrity in working on his own responsibilities.
  • Needs to appreciate the impact decisions will have on the wider business needs .
  • A good understanding of German is desirable.
  • Needs to be practically minded and a logical thinker.
  • At least 4 years time served Apprenticeship – Incorporating and an HNC and or City and Guilds L3 or NVQ L3 minimum
  • At least 2 years in a Technical Role, ideally within Production Automation
  • Specialisation courses. A good working knowledge of SAP Maintenance & Logistic systems. Experience of maintenance and maintenance planning.
  • A good understanding of Microstation is also required as is an ability to identify and catologue equipment based on technical abilitiy.
