Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood - Assembly Final Test and Finish Production Graduate - 2 Year Graduate Programme (September 2027)
We are looking for a high-calibre, eager to learn Graduate looking to take the next step in their career in Engineering or Manufacturing. You will be a part of our Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Assembly team where you will support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality vehicle assembly operations. The role provides hands-on exposure to production processes, continuous improvement, and plant performance, and developing capability.
What awaits you?
Production & Operations
- Support test and final finish operations.
- Ensure adherence to standardised work instructions and production sequences
- Contribute to maintaining stable production flow and process adherence
Quality & Problem Solving
- Support achievement of quality targets (e.g. DPU, RFT)
- Identify, escalate, and help resolve buildability and quality issues
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action
- Assist in process confirmations and validation activities
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to process improvements in quality, efficiency, and ergonomics
- Support time studies and process optimisation activities
- Assist with updating standardised work and documentation
Launch & Project Support
- Participate in pre-series build events
- Support validation of new components, tools, and processes
- Assist with training rollout and new model introduction
Qualifications and experience
- Have achieved a minimum of a 2:2 in your bachelor’s degree, or a pass in your master’s studies - preferably in a Engineering or Manufacturing related field, or any other related disciplines.
- Advanced understanding of manufacturing or engineering principles
- Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving capability
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
- An interest in the Luxury and Automotive industries, coupled with a willingness to develop an understanding of how the Rolls-Royce brand generates both their clients and income.
- A full UK Driving License is advantageous but is not essential.
