Job Title: Finance Funding Administrator, Level 3 Apprenticeship – 18 months (August 2026)

Our Summit ONE in Farnborough is home to the National Sales Company (NSC) for the BMW Group in the UK, as well as BMW Group Financial Services which offers retailers, corporate, and private customers a range of customised financial services. Alphabet (GB) Ltd. as a leading provider of Business Mobility Services is also located in Farnborough.  We decided in November 2020 to bring together BMW Financial Services and Alphabet to stay relevant to our customers and continue to succeed in a rapidly changing business environment.

BMW Financial Services, Farnborough - Finance Funding Administrator, Level 3 Apprenticeship – 18 months (August 2026)

The Commercial Finance Funding team has responsibility for providing market leading support for the wholesale funding to our network of retailers and partners, involving administration, reconciliation, analysis and customer serviced based activities.

What will you be doing?

Key areas of focus include:

  • Reconciling day to day business within wholesale funding BMW, MINI, Alphera, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
  • Investigation and correction of rejected direct debit transactions
  • Creation of daily payment files (funds to & due from retailers & dealers)
  • Support Bank reconciliation working with Senior Administrator & Manager and the NSC & Finance
  • Creation and update of retailer details, including bank mandates, within Commercial Finance Solution System (CFS)
  • Implementation of interest rate changes within CFS
  • Stock audits – review & creation of correspondence & appropriate fines
  • Analysis and action the dual funding reports as well as ensuring our vehicle loan portfolio is accurately represented with vehicle agencies (HPI, Experian)
  • Effectively work the email inbox & telephone ensuring that all communication is clear & concise

Your Progression

The apprenticeship will provide several different opportunities to support individual career development and will provide the support and guidance necessary to ensure the training is successful.

Whilst developing specialist, on-the-job knowledge, the successful apprentice will achieve the attainment of an AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.

Qualifications and Experience

  • GCSE's in Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade 5/C (or above

That’s why in addition to the qualifications we require from you, we’ll also look for you to have a range of skills, attributes, and behaviours. These include team working, the ability to work without close supervision, quality focus, good communication skills, enthusiasm, initiative, and the ability to take on responsibility and show accountability for your work.
