Bid & Tender Specialist

BMW Financial Services are looking for a Bid and Tender Specialist. This role is based at the Summit ONE Campus in Farnborough.

What awaits you?

  • Maintain and nurture our tender runway for future, current, and historic opportunities, while building strong, collaborative relationships with sales leads and pre-tender engagement within the business. Your insight will help us design solutions that truly resonate with our customers.
  • Drive success by qualifying opportunities to ensure we focus on the right proposals, maximising our chances to win.
  • Organise kick-off meetings that bring together key stakeholders from around the business. Work hand-in-hand with relationship leads to shape strategies and solutions that meet the requirements of the opportunity and customer objectives.
  • Research and design responses that reflect the customer’s brand, captivate readers, and highlight our partnership approach. You’ll help craft executive summaries that set the tone for success.
  • Use APMP methodologies and internal tools to manage the creation, population, and submission of responses.
  • Coach subject matter experts to share their knowledge in a way that’s clear, compelling, and customer focused.

 

What should you bring along?

  • APMP certified (or working toward certification) would be ideal but not essential
  • Exceptional written and communication skills
  • Experience in bid writing and managing tender responses, proposals, and presentations
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite would be ideal but not essential
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Influencing and organisational skills to juggle priorities under tight deadlines
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach, you thrive on taking initiative
