BMW UK, Farnborough - Sales Intern - 13 Month Placement (July 2025)
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented National Sales Assistant to join our Business Development team. In this role, you will collaborate with Area Managers and internal stakeholders to achieve business sales targets and effectively deliver national sales offers. Your analytical skills and organizational abilities will be essential in driving our sales initiatives forward.
What awaits you?
- Competitor Reporting & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive competitor reporting and analysis, reviewing and presenting the latest offers from core competitors. This includes monitoring monthly price points, sales performance, and marketing actions to inform strategic decisions.
- Trend Identification: Identify and report on competitor performance trends derived from competitor analysis, contributing to the quarterly tactical planning process.
- Sales Stock Reporting: Take ownership of the National Sales stock reporting, identifying trends and providing insights to guide sales incentives and strategies.
- Campaign Support: Assist the Tactical Manager in the development of quarterly sales campaigns by providing data-driven insights from stock and competitor reporting.
- Webinar and Insight Booklet Organization: Organize and create the Tactical Quarterly webinar and Retailer Insight Booklet, ensuring effective communication of key information to stakeholders.
- KPI Reporting & Action Planning: Collaborate with Area Managers and the Retailer Performance Centre team to support KPI reporting and action planning, driving performance improvements across the organization.
Qualifications and Experience
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with a proven track record of managing multiple tasks with varying timelines and objectives.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of key reports and analyses.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of the organization.
- Educational Background: An interest in business or economics is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
