At our Debrecen plant, we don’t just assemble cars; we bring dreams of modern driving to life. We are the first to launch the production of fully electric Neue Klasse models. We are looking for colleagues who want to be part of the BMW brand's transformation.
As a Destructive Testing Specialist at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you will play a key role in revolutionizing the way we think about driving.
What Awaits You?
- Destructive and Non-Destructive Testing: Examining semi-finished and finished products at various stages of production.
- Use of Machines and Equipment: Utilizing cutting, slicing, grinding, and polishing machines during sample preparation, with chemical procedures applied when necessary.
- Quality Control: Analyzing prepared samples using microscopes, tensile testers, CT scanners, and custom-developed material testing systems.
- Report Preparation: Performing necessary calibration and maintenance tasks as part of your daily work.
- Measurement Process Development and Optimization: Enhancing measurement processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Continuous Training: Participating in our extensive training program to prepare you for your tasks.
- Process Optimization: Contributing to the improvement of production quality and offering development suggestions to support manufacturing.
What Do We Expect from You?
- Education: Successfully completed secondary vocational qualification in chemistry, mechanical engineering, or electronics. A university or technical degree is an advantage.
- Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant material and process testing experience in the automotive industry within the last 5 years.
- Precision and Teamwork: Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team, with a willingness for continuous self-improvement. Strong communication skills are essential.
- Language Skills: Basic knowledge of English or German is an advantage but not required.
- Shift Work: Willingness to work in shifts after production starts.
- Openness to Learning New Skills.
