Occupational Safety Specialist

We want this to strengthen even further, so our team is currently looking for a Safety Specialist (f/m/x).                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

Among others as a BMW Group Safety Specialist you will be responsible to ensure continuous legally compliant operation within the area of responsibility, and to develop, implement and maintain the safety and ergonomics systems. 

What awaits you?

• Participation in ISO45001 management system implementation.
• Representing and ensuring legal compliance in the area of responsibility..
• Being an active member of the audit team and engage in internal, group and third party audits.
• Supporting head of Safety with steer risk management processes, highly focus on ergonomics factors.
• Engaging actively in safety and ergonomics projects in connection with associated technology or department, as well as chemical management.
• Providing services to related technology in all safety and ergonomics topics particularly planning, machine procurement process and acceptances.
• Consulting management on safety performance, incidents and activities.
• Create risk assessments in the area of responsibility to fulfill local legal and BMW internal expectations.

What should you bring along?

• University degree in Occupational Safety / EHS.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in occupational safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience as an internal auditor is advantage. Lead-auditor qualification is an advantage. (ISO 45001).
• Deep knowledge of Hungarian legal safety requirements and EU applicable standards.
• Very good MS Office and presentation skills, especially Excel and Power Point.
• Proactive attitude with safety mindset, strong communication skills. Reliable and customer-oriented way of working.
• Hungarian and English business fluent – both written and spoken. German would be an advantage.
