As a Material Planner at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you're a crucial part of our vision to revolutionize the way we think about cars. You will be responsible for managing the supply of parts from our suppliers to Plant Debrecen.

What awaits you?

• Work environment – you will be working in an well-equipped open office area along with your team members with an access to a work station, kitchen, coffee shop and canteen.
• Team – as a member of our Material Planning team you’ll be working in a multicultural environtment together with 10 people. In the team there are junior, medior and senior colleagues, as well, and they are working in project teams on the company's logistics and product projects to optimize the entire logistics process chain.
• Planning and procurement – you will be responsible for the autonomous material planning and procurement of a defined range of parts using several material control methods and tools with the aim of ensuring supply of the car production.
• Ensuring supply performance – you will be the key point of contact for suppliers and internal customers, you will track and ensure and measure supply performance in accordance with production programs, plants, partners and central offices, taking into account general purchasing and logistics conditions, the production program and various supply concepts.
• Problem Solving – you will be supporting supplier escalation and root-cause analysis from logistics point of view as a participant in problem-solving process, in cooperation with purchasing and quality assurance.
• Data maintenance – you will be responsible for master data maintenance, as well as the development and implementation of supllier improvment measures.

What should you bring along?

• Educational Background - university degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Work Experience – logisztikai területen szerzett releváns tapasztalat (különösen az autóiparban) előny. Magabiztos MS Office ismeretek szükségesek. SAP (R/3, HANA), valamint logisztikai és raktározási ismeretek előnyt jelentenek.

• Language skills - fluent English and Hungarian skills are required, German language would be a plus.

• Precision & Teamwork - ability to work under time pressure, being able to solve problems independently. Precise, structured, analytical working style with strong communication skills.
• Work schedule – willingness to work a shift-based schedule, including night shifts
