As a MES Application Integrator at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you will define and implement our business processes in IT solutions.

What awaits you?

• Work environment – You will be working at the Communication Center located within the BMW Group Plant Debrecen, in a modern, digitalized, open office-style environment, together with other office employees and your direct teammates. The Communication Center is a state-of-the-art office space equipped with kitchenettes, coffee stations, and ergonomic workstations, and also includes a company cafeteria.
• Team – As part of a 10+-member team, that consists of motivated, experienced colleagues you will collaborate with a broad network covering technologies across all BMW plants and the IT headquarters.
• Core responsibilities – As a direct contact person you define processes and implement these in our productive environment. You test, integrate, rollout and operate production critical applications as part of an international team utilizing agile methodology.
• Collaboration - You collaborate with other teams to ensure high availability and stability of our productive IT solutions.
• Continuous development - You will be part of an environment which believes in lifelong learning with continuous exchange of knowledge to shape the future of BMW Group IT.

What should you bring along?

• Educational background - Bachelor / Master degree or equivalent in Information Technologies, Industrial Engineering or Mathematics’ with focus on IT.
• Work experience – You gained at least 3 years of experience using relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres, or MS-SQL and UNIX/LINUX operating systems and working with MES/ERP systems. Knowledge of modern software architecture and technology stacks including cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS) and strong understanding on application’s operations. 
• Work schedule – You are willing to work on-site during regular business hours. Remote work may be considered based on alignment with your line manager.
• Technical knowledge – You have knowledge and experience in a variety of programming languages, preferably Python, TypeScript or GO as well as process and agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Ansible, GitHub, CI/CD Pipelines).
• Way of working – You have good analytic and problem-solving skills, you are goal-oriented and structured and you enjoy working in a team.
• Openness to travel - Flexibility and willingness to travel abroad on business trips.
• Language skills - Very good knowledge of spoken and written English and Hungarian is a must, knowledge of the German language is an advantage.
