As an IT System Integrator at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you will be an interface between the business and technical teams who will support the efficient flow of information with your process-oriented approach.
What awaits you?
Work environment – You will be working at the Communication Center located within the BMW Group Plant Debrecen, in a modern, digitalized, open office-style environment, together with other office employees and your direct teammates. The Communication Center is a state-of-the-art office space equipped with kitchenettes, coffee stations, and ergonomic workstations, and also includes a company cafeteria.
Team – As part of a ~10-member team, that consists of motivated, experienced team members you will collaborate with a broad network covering technologies across all BMW plants and the IT headquarters.
Core responsibilities – As a direct contact person for a specific technology in our plant, you will get to know the technology processes to provide active support as a key account (Business Process Expert) for IT requirements, incidents and problems.
Collaboration - You will learn the necessary IT PRIME processes for the plant and collaborate globally with IT colleagues to provide support to business partners.
Supporting function – You will support the implementation of measures derived from critical incidents and problems while assisting the Major Incident Management Board. You will support the implementation of IT changes during planned production shutdowns as well as process changes in the plant.
What should you bring along?
Educational background - Bachelor / Master degree or equivalent in Information Technologies, Industrial Engineering or knowledge acquired through practical experience.
Work experience – You gained experiences in leading cross functional workshops with IT and business, also with ITIL processes: Problem-, Incident- und Change Management (PIC-processes).
Work schedule – You are willing to work on-site during regular business hours. Remote work may be considered based on alignment with your line manager.
Technical knowledge – You are skilled at communicating IT topics to non-IT colleagues. You are familiar with collaboration toolkits (e.g., Jira and Confluence) in an agile environment, besides you have abasic knowledge in programming.
Way of working – You are goal-oriented and structured
Openness to travel - Flexibility and willingness to travel abroad with a rare standby state
Language skills - Very good knowledge of spoken and written English and Hungarian, knowledge of the German language is an advantage.
Soft skills - Strong team and communication skills in a multicultural working environment.
