As a Data Science Specialist at the BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you will be responsible for analyzing and providing transparency into production data, while developing data-driven solutions to support informed decision-making, process optimization, and the development of a future-oriented production system.

• Team – You will be part of a highly skilled team that uses production data to supportdata-driven decision-making and the continuous improvement of quality management.
• Quality Management – You will be responsible for implementing the Quality Management System in the Energy Module production area and for its continuous improvement.
• IT and digitalization – one of your key responsibilities will be the development and continuous improvement of IT-related topics within the Quality Management System.
• Data-driven operations – by analyzing and utilizing production data, you will support data-driven decisionmaking and contribute to creating transparency within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Innovation – You will work on implementing and utilizing cutting-edge technologies that support innovation and the development of a future-oriented production system.

What should you bring along?

• Education – You hold a university degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Work experience - Professional experience in the automotive, energy or railway industry is an advantage.
• Work schedule - You are willing to work on-site at least 4 days a week during regular business hours.
• Language skills – You have confident, intermediate-level English language skills, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Hungarian or German languageis an advantage.
• Professional Skills – You have data management and data analysis knowledge, as well as a strong understanding of manufacturing and quality management processes. You have experience in developing data-driven solutions and increasing process transparency.
• IT skills – You are confident in using or eager to work with Python, JavaScript, SQL, and Cloud technologies. Knowledge of Power BI and other reporting or data visualization tools is an advantage.
• Soft skills – you have an analytical mindset and are able to work independently and in a structured manner. You have a high sense of responsibility and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
