The duties of this role are as listed below, with the principle duty being to Lead a team of polishers ensuring that all cars are worked to process in order to achieve and surpass the required quality standard that are demanded from our customers.

What awaits you:

• Lead team of polishers in conducting Paint finishing processes as per WI and Gemba standards in order to achieve the required quality standard.
• Coach, motivate and train others to acquire the skills necessary to achieve the above.
• Make decisions on defects ensuring that the Group quality standard is followed.
• Identify any faults that prevent the process from continuing to next stage and escalate to Process Supporter where necessary.
• Ensure that whole team enter all faults and rework information into the FMS system.
• Final buy-off of complete process, including 4 eyes check's and FMS entries.

What you should bring along:

• Basic IT skills
• 2 years’ experience in Automotive manufacturing
• Good knowledge of Surface Finish Centre processes
• Strong communication skills
• Health and Safety and 5S awareness
• Good level of technical competence
• Self-motivated
• Team player
• Attention to detail
