We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to drive excellence in accounting operations and financial reporting.

What awaits you?

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable postings, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Take ownership of general ledger account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Independently prepare and coordinate tax filings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and deadlines.
• Prepare accurate and timely regulatory reports in line with applicable financial and legal requirements.
• Manage daily cash positions and forecast funding requirements to maintain sufficient liquidity.
• Act as the primary contact for external auditors and consultants, coordinating audits and providing clear documentation and explanations.
• Ensure accounting processes comply with applicable financial regulations and Bank of Greece requirements.
• Collaborate with BMW Group companies and global stakeholders in a dynamic international environment.

What should you bring along?

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Knowledge of Greek GAAP, IFRS and Greek Tax regulations.
• At least five (5) years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the fields of Banking, Financial Services, Automotive or Rental.
• Hands-on experience with MS Office, IFT/SAP and AI tools.
• Data-driven mindset with a strong interest in digital innovation and the practical application of AI technologies.
• Fluent in Greek and English, both written and verbal.
